App Store label

Data Not Collected

The normal mobile release flow is designed so CardFit does not collect user data from the app in the App Store privacy sense.

Normal scans

On-device first

Card scanning happens on the device before any limited backend lookup is allowed to run.

Who we are

CardFit Scanner is a trading-card scanner operated by Ginylil. You can contact us at support@ginylil.com.

What stays on your device

In normal App Store use, CardFit Scanner processes the scan on-device. The release lane is designed so that normal scans do not upload card photos to the Ginylil backend.

Release-lane privacy boundary

If CardFit cannot continue confidently in the normal release flow, it should stop instead of silently sending the photo to Ginylil.

What may reach Ginylil

CardFit may send limited lookup data to the Ginylil backend to retrieve current-listing evidence. That request is designed around the minimum data needed to service the lookup rather than the full card photo.

What this means

CardFit may send limited match-related lookup details so the app can load listing evidence for the scanned card.

Retention boundary

Ginylil does not retain those lookup inputs as user-specific search history. The backend keeps shared market-data cache entries for matched cards, not a per-user log of what a specific person scanned or searched.

Third-party listing content and outbound links

When current-listing evidence is available, CardFit may display listing content and images sourced from external marketplaces. If you choose to open an outbound link, you leave CardFit and continue on the marketplace site under that site’s own terms and privacy policy.

Accounts, analytics, and tracking

CardFit does not require an account and does not use third-party analytics or ad tracking SDKs in this release lane.

Developer-proof and local fallback workflows

During local development, Ginylil may use explicit developer-only or proof-only lanes that differ from the public release flow. Those workflows are for validation and are not the normal product contract described on this page.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the product changes. For privacy questions, email support@ginylil.com.
